Family Social Worker?

i am 19 years old living in the north east of England and i am currently working iin an office but i really want to become a Family Social Worker i need to know how long it would take to become a registered social worker and wether you can study at home as i need to keep my current job as i have a 4 grand loan to pay off so need the income still coming in - can any 1 help or no some1 that could tell me a little more about it - or no sum1 that actaully works as a social worker please help thankyou x

3 years to study as a socialworker, can be done vocational training if you are with certain health and social services aithority, but is college, uni based. you could try open uni too, but you need practice based learning as well as theory. see links:
