Help with Social Science?

Hi.... I am a Class 10th student and will be appearing for my board exams this year. In the pre-boards, I scored 100 in Maths, 96 in Science, 89 in English, 78 in Hindi and "41" in Social Science. Can anyone tell me how to study Social Science at this point of time (as only 2 weeks are left for the Social Science exams) so as to score 80%? .... Please!!!


BTW, is "100% Sure Success: Social Science" (Evergreen Publications) a good book? If not, then suggest some other extra and relevant books I can consult.

what i did was i frankly said my teacher tat i was afraid of SSc. then she freequently called me and gave practice questions..................................


now i am very confident.........................


hey frnt, try to see xams in a +ve manner. ssc is very easy if we are ready to face the past incidents.....................

Reply:Ya it's quite a gud buk. But one thing that u need to understand is that Socialscience is a very general topic that u need to understand. It tells u whatever has happenned n is happening, so its unlike maths or science which are very complicated (xcept dates n years). Learn the answers slowly n understand instead of memorising them.then u'll feel its easy. A bright student like u can easily score, I'm sure. The only thing is that u hav to develop an interest towards it. Then its sufficient to learn from ur textbuk. All the best.
Reply:dont panic first of all realize the truth that you r very good in other subjects than why you can not do well in sst


because u panic


first of all try previous year questions


it will give you an idea of the important questions


complete all text book questions they are important


then go for cbse sample papers


then revise


if you cant remember dates practise by writing them


one week is more than enough


try hard


you will be succesful

read and learn as if you are reading an interesting story book.
