I will be graduating with an A.S. in human services in January and I don't want to go for the B.S. in human services because counseling and social work and other things of that nature don't really interests me much! I've thought about maybe going for a Bachelor's in General Studies with a social science concentration but I don't know what a social science is and what courses constitute as social sciences. Additionally, I would like to know what courses constitute as arts%26amp;humanity courses because I am trying to figure out what my interests are so that I can better figure out what my step will be after graduating with my A.S. in human services. as always thanks for your help!!
What is a social science and what are some examples of social science courses?
Social sciences include but are not limited to:
Psychology
Sociology
Anthropology
Geography (sometimes gets put in hard science)
Communications
Economics
Child/Family Development
Urban Planning
History (sometimes put in humanities)
Political science
Ethnic Studies (and and all forms including Women) - (These can also be put in humanities)
Most of the -professions are social science too:

Business
Recreation
Education
etc.
